same here, they didnt get the name "flip-flops" until the late 80's....

I don't ever remember a time when they weren't called flip-flops, except for my weird aunt, who calls them "sandals".

It's March now!!! My leprechauns are going out everywhere now!! They will be sneaking and hiding around in some of your homes! Only 16 more days to go, and they're still waiting for some corned beef and green cabbage! Along with potatoes and corn breads!
