I don't think SATURDAY THE 14TH should be remade! Is that correct?

How bout this list- NONE!
Filmmakers- if you have an ounce of creativity in your body, make your own movie- leave other people's works of art ALONE!

The weird thing is, that horror films were MADE on remakes..
Dracula was a remake of the German film NOSFERATU.
Frankenstein was done four or five times before Boris did it.
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA was done silent first, then got the Nelson Eddy treatment..the one that the musical seems to remember the most..
But yeah, there are some that should BE left alone and some that SHOULD HAVE BEEN left alone.
HALLOWEEN.
THE HAUNTING
THE OMEN
TEXAS CHAIN SAW
PSYCHO...
CAT PEOPLE.
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.
THE THING
CARNIVAL OF SOULS
Leave the following alone.
BLACK SUNDAY
PLAN NINE
ROBOT MONSTER
SHE
THE CAT AND THE CANARY
ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN
THE VAL LEWTON NINE
THE GHOUL
BRAINIAC
THE BLACK PIT OF DR. M

They are remaking my all time favorite "horror" movie.
April Fool's Day.
They should leave it alone...they will never be able to get a cast as cool as the originals.
I am glad they never remade "My Bloody Valentine".
They have remade just about every single movie, which I personally do not understand "remaking" a movie. It has been done, the reason people loved it, was because of what it was the first time...when you change it- it is never that movie again...so why even do it.
