WOW. Talk about first signs! It's colder then the proverbial witch this morning. There was actually a little frost on my car this morning.

Thank you Mike, High Praise indeed from a fellow photographer.
Autumn color around here has been slow to arrive because we had a very mild summer and Early Autumn, but this past week we have finally had temperatures approaching freezing overnight and now all of the trees and foliage are starting to pop.

Not much color for us yet, but we did have a little frost yesterday and today.

Now that we're entering the 2nd half of October after tomorrow, the colors will start to turn more dramatically around here. I also know I'm going to be a busy boy with the raking, too.

Finally starting to see some color in Middle TN, too.

My neighbors trees are turning color a lot more then mine are right now. The real kicker here is that I have 5 trees on my property, and only one of them is starting to actually turn color. The others are showing a little, but that's all. So far they're still pretty green. I'll probably be the last one in the neighborhood to be raking, too.

I don't want to rush it. Not just yet. Though since I'm going to be subbing, I'm looking forward to falling all the more than ever now. Found some fall-related stuff at the Dollar Tree, and in an AVON catalog, but that was about it.
