Oooh, I haven't seen the Halloween mags yet, just Paula Dean's Fall Baking.

I almost hate to say this around our West Coasters, but we had a long rainy day yesterday, much more autumnal than the short-burst thunderstorms you usually see in the summertime. I think we're back to summer this weekend, but yesterday was a harbinger of things to come!

We had thunder storms overnight , which only exacerbates the fire season.

I'm sorry to hear that, Andy. I have family in CA. I care about the people out there. It's such a beautiful place, most of the time.

The season comes on apace! Kids are already back in school around here. They started last week.

Spirit Halloween just opened where I live. I haven't had a chance to go in yet, hopefully this week though!

Saw the invoices for the halloween items for Crate & Barrel (which is where I work). Looks like several of the items are arriving next week.

Usually Spirit Halloween doesn't open up till about the 15th near my University but it doesn't help my wallet that its only 10 minutes away. That being said usually Halloween City opens up later but I'm getting ready.
