Bella, that house is awesome! I can picture it all decked out for Halloween and Christmas. So much character!

I was watching this show once -- I think on HG-TV -- where this couple's house looked like an old, over-100-year-old Victorian, but it wasn't. It was a newly built house that was a replica of an old one. The details were so accurate, but it had all the conveniences of a modern home. That's what I'd do if I could build my dream home.

I agree on the new looking like old house. But I kind of like the odd quirks.
I have those little tiny cubby-hole closets too. It's kind of like a child's hiding place.

It is too bad we don't all live closer, we would make it a pitch-in.
There is a huge yard on the property, we could have a fire.

Oooo...Bella, nice place!! I love old houses with lots of character, and squeaky floors and doors. You can just feel the energy of all the people who have lived there.
