Happy Turkey Day one and all. Now that I finished stuffing my face full of Halloween candy, I look forward to stuffing it with stuffing, turkey and all the rest.

For the first time in many moons most of my family will gather together this Thanksgiving, for lengthy discussions of religion, politics and football.
It's usually hard to coordinate such a feat because of the size of the clan and geography involved.
The last time all eleven siblings were together was in 1985.

I'm sure religion and politics will be a huge topic of conversation at our thanksgiving dinner table, too. It's the same thing at the Christmas dinner table. As for football, there's no doubt that there will be games on tv on both holidays, and my two football fanatic older brothers will have them on. You see, in my family, football is just as part of our Christmas tradition as it is part of Thanksgiving.

I just put 10 pounds of sausage dressing in the oven, cranberry sauce gas been chilling overnight.
Nap time, then S.S.S. and off to my brothers house for four o'clock feeding frenzy.

Looks delicious! We ate at 4, too, and ours was also good.

As you can see in the photo the turkey skin had a blowout, but it was still very moist and tasty.
The sausage dressing and cranberries were well received.
I still can't move very fast right now.

Well, I certainly have much to be thankful for this year, and it was a wonderful Thanksgiving for me with my brothers and sisters. Now it's time for some left over turkey wings.
