THE SNOW HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED!

They're predicting a winter storm for Houston, as well as other parts of Texas. We could get three to five inches accumulation! Last year, on December 10, we had snow, but no accumulation. Three years ago we had this "ice storm," but it was nothing. It'll be interesting to see how this goes.

That TX storm is supposed to give us flurries tonight, but no accumulation in Middle TN. I love a little snow, too, especially this time of year. We don't see it too often.

Yeah, it should've come at Christmas. I'm not much of a snow person -- I just enjoy admiring the beauty of freshly fallen snow, especially when the sun hits it and it looks like glistening crystals. I think some snow at Christmas, to give it a picture-perfect white Christmas look is how it should be, but after that I have no use for snow. When my kids were little I'd play in the snow with them and that was fun, but I'm not into winter sports.

That's exactly how I feel...I love to see fresh snow fall and how it clings and glistens to the trees and creates this wonderful winter landscape and magestic views but after new years...take it away and make it gone. It gets old quick after that. Plus the snow gets all black and dirty from the street and cars and stuff...not a pretty sight.

You have too much time on your hands then hee hee LOL...between work, kids and a dog I don't have much time for that...they are too young for the sledding experience yet...but one day they will be. I love to go play hockey outdoors and skate...always have loved that since I was a kid.

i don't have kids so as long as i'm not at work and chores are done my time is exactly that... my time lol i've dodged the "child" bullet so far :)
plus it only snows here like once every other year for about only 2 days lol so its a big deal here when it snows :)

If I owned a dump truck I would...we usually get 5-10 inches between now and Dec 26th...

We've had flurries to a 1/2 inch in some places here in Missouri already. Some years we get slammed & some none at all. I do love to look at the snow when it first coming down & fresh!!!
I like the cold & the snow just not all the time & I really hate ice, but last year we did have one of the prettiest ice palaces around, it was beautiful to look at but not fun to drive in, we were ice in for 3 days, crazy!!!
