I finaly got around to uploading the nice avitar that iHaunt sent me, unfortunately it isn't showing up in any of my messages ot topics. Am I doing something wrong, or does it need to be approved before it will post?

Your avatar does not need to be approved... I'm not certain why it's not showing up. =/

Some websites-- not sure if Halloween.com has this one set up this way or not-- won't allow avatars that are larger than 100 pixles wide and 100 pixles tall. That's the only thing I can think of that might hinder an upload of an avatar.

Other than that, all I can tell you is what you probably already know...
Click on "User Control Panel" (above) then click on "Profile" in the left menu on the page that comes up. Then, when the new page loads, click on the sub-category "Edit avatar" that shows up under "Profile" on the left menu. If the image is on your computer, select "upload from computer". Make sure you save/confirm the change.

Everything is fine, Mike. I can see your avatar right there on your own profile. So, glad you did make it. Did you do it yourself, or did someone else help you?

I had a little instruction from a moderator, but I pretty much did it myself. My mistake was the file size was too big. I had to reduce it down t' 1oo px by 99 pix. Knowing that, I can make copies of some of my favorite Halloween photos and change my avitar from time to time.

But for now, I'm going to stick with the jack o'lanterns.
